Starting at ₹ 3.02 lakhs, the Eon is the small city car developed by South Korean manufacturer Hyundai specifically for India and is positioned below the Hyundai Santro and the i10. It is based on the fluidic design philosophy of the Korean manufacturer. The Eon is powered by 800cc three-cylinder petrol engine that develops 55bhp and 75Nm of torque. The car was launched in 1 October 2011 in India. The Eon is produced in India at Hyundai's Chennai plant for the domestic and export markets as the company's entry level city car.
